Today the NCGP officially responds to Gamesbeat writer Jeff Grubbs and [STATEMNT RETRACTED: his grossly inaccurate, misleading, and heavily biased opinion piece on the sitting director Kenneth Tran and other committee members.]
In response, we simply invite Mr. Grubbs to join us for a live AMA via video chat with the director himself. All members of the media and the public are free to attend it and are encouraged to bring additional questions.
There will be no time limit set on the press conference as the director is more than happy to address every single question just as we have continued to not ignore a single tweet on twitter, to the best of our knowledge.
If Mr. Grubbs declines the invitation, then the AMA will proceed regardless of which pieces of evidence such as documents and emails will be shown to the public.
The NCGP wants the public to know that it is working in their best interest, and that although many of its workings are private it is more than happy to enter public discussion with the game’s media.
This public AMA will distributed to many media outlets whether or not they attend.
In closing, the director has stated that “I am not here to discredit Mr. Grubbs, but I am here to work on the behalf of the community and want to answer as many questions as possible.”
Stay tuned for an update after Jeff Grubbs confirms and/or fails to respond, at which time the AMA will be scheduled.
